Many people are afraid to decorate a Black Bedroom Furniture because they are afraid that it will look too dark. However, black can be used in many home furnishings throughout your home.
Apply a contrasting color to the walls. Lighter colors such as tan, blue and green will make Black Furniture stand out as well as color. Avoid colors like navy blue; dark brown and reddish brown because they do not contrast black furniture enough and will further darken the bedroom. Place a large, light carpet on the floor if your floor is dark. Light flooring helps contrast black bedroom furniture while helping to keep the room feeling light and airy. Put the bed against a wall that opposes the entry door, if possible. You want the bed to be the first thing you see when you walk in.
It focuses on the black bed in the room and will keep it from blocking the flow into the room. Place black side tables on each side of the bed so that at least 6 inches between each piece of furniture if possible. The distance holding the wall bed is further from the feeling too dark by allowing the bright walls to see. Put your black dresser in a closet, if possible, to keep too many dark pieces from being in the room. Otherwise, place your dresser on the largest wall that is not already occupied by furniture.
